Why Opt For Store-bought Thandai When You Can Easily Make It At Home?

It is just impossible to celebrate Holi without Thandai. In fact, Thandai and Holi are complementary to each other that it is second to impossible to celebrate this colorful festival without this delicious tradition. It is made with a unique combination of ingredients and adds fun and happiness to every Holi party! 

But would you trust the store-bought or readily available Thandai in the era of commercialization? Well, no, because it has artificial flavors or chemicals that are mixed for increasing the quantity. Well, here we give you a solution to this problem. Time has come when you need to make a few  efforts to make this easy and quick thandai masala at home and add with milk, sounds tasty, right! Kharbooje ke beej- 1/2 cup

Fennel seeds – 30 grams

Saffron – 1/4 tbsp

Almonds – 150 grams

Sabut kali Mirch – 4tbsp

Green Cardamom – 10 grams

Dried rose flower – 4 numbers

Poppy seeds – 2 tbsp (optional)

Pistachio – 70 grams

Instructions To Make It At Home:


  • First blend cardamom, blend sugar, fennel seed, and kali mirch in a mixer to make a powder.
  • Take a strainer, then strain and store it aside.
  • After that, add pistachio, almonds, saffron, kharbooje ke beej, poppy seeds, rose petals into a fine powder.

Your Thandai masala is ready and keeps it in an airtight container. Whenever you want, just mix the masala with chilled milk and enjoy its heavenly taste!
