The festival of Rang Panchami, drenched in colors and devotion, is celebrated with great pomp on the fifth day of Holi i.e. the Panchami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month. This day is also called Holi of the Gods, because it is believed that on this day the gods and goddesses come to earth to play Holi with the devotees.

The festival of Rang Panchami starts from the next day of Holi and lasts for five days and in the Braj region it is also considered a symbol of the end of the Holi festival. This time Rang Panchami will be celebrated on March 19, 2025.

Mathura and Vrindavan

According to the Hindu calendar, Rang Panchami is celebrated on the Panchami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month. This year Panchami Tithi will start on March 18, 2025, at 10:09 pm. At the same time, it will end on March 20 at 12:37 pm. In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, Rang Panchami will be celebrated on March 19, 2025.

Rang Panchami Shubh Muhurat 2025

Holi 

On Panchami Tithi i.e. Rang Panchami, Brahma Muhurta will be from 4:51 am to 5:38 am. Vijay Muhurta will be from 2:30 pm to 3:54 pm. Twilight period is from 6:29 pm to 6:54 pm and the auspicious time of Nishita Kaal at night will be from 12:05 pm to 12:52 pm.

Special worship on Rang Panchami

– Holika, Prahlad, and Lord Narasimha are worshipped on the day of Holika Dahan.

– On the day of Dhulendi (Holi), there is a law to worship Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi.

– On the day of Rang Panchami, special worship of Radha-Krishna is done.

– On this day, special worship and Rang Utsav are organized in the temples of Barsana and Vrindavan.
