Why Did Erica Fernandez Leave India? Said, “I Was Looking for Growth”

No doubt, Erica Fernandez is one of the most popular television actresses in India. After portraying the lead character in TV shows like Kasuti Zindagi Ki and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, she became a household name that is loved by everyone.

And not only in Indian households, but actress is a lot more popular among the youth. With her simple and beautiful appearance, Erica won many hearts over the years. Despite being less active on social media, she has more than 4.5 million followers on Instagram.

However, the Indian gem has recently shifted to Dubai. For over a few months, the actress is travelling from Dubai to India and India to Dubai for her work. So, Erics’s fans are very curious to know why she is moving out of her comfort zone.

“I Felt A Little Stagnated In India,” Said Erica Fernandez

In the latest interaction with Hindustan times, television actress Erica Fernandez explained why she shifted to Dubai. The actress said, “I was looking for growth. It’s not about how much work you have done. It’s about what more? What next? And I felt a little stagnated, and I wanted to do more. I needed to take that next step, and so I did. A lot is happening here.”

Continuing her statement, Erica explained she is in her comfort zone. She added, “Dubai has always been home, so I wouldn’t say it’s moving out of my comfort zone. My family is here, so the thought of living here didn’t make me feel apprehensive. However, I travel back and forth to India for my work commitments.”

Apart from this, Erica explained the beauty of Dubai. She said, “With many factors, Dubai is a beautiful place. It’s a global hub where we have various nationalities under one roof. We get to learn about different world cultures by living in one country. The infrastructure is phenomenal.”

“My experience has been outstanding for the past few months as a resident,” mentions the 30-year-old, adding, “It is always a learning process, and when you move to another country, it is like learning all over again, and the adventures are very different.”

The “Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actress” also said this route is faster for her. In her words, “I have been doing that smoothly until now, and I guess it’s faster for me to reach from Dubai to Mumbai on set than from Goregaon to Naigaon.”
