Apple has prolonged the acceptance of an update to an email app with AI-based tools because of the concerns that it may produce wrong content for children.

The report has been quoted by the reporter of Wall Street Journal on March 2 taking communication between the iPhone maker and the app developer into consideration.

The co-founder of Bluemail developer, Ben Volach stated to the Journal that an update to the email app, Blue mail, which accesses a personalized version of the ChatGPT language model, was blocked past week.

Volach also posted on Twitter which is publicized that Apple was aiming for Bluemail, which was totally unfair, and that the app has content filtering. Putting a higher age limitation on the app can restrict its distribution to capable new users.

“We want the game to be fair, if we are needed to be 17 plus, then the remaining should also have to.  Also, various other apps promote ChatGPT such as features registered on Apple’s App store do not have such age limitations. 

Apple, which is considered it was seeking into the complaint, stated creators have the option to challenge a nonacceptance with the help of the App review board process.

The feature referred to as “My AI” will be functioning on the newest version of Open AI’s GPT technology which has been personalized for SnapChat. 

In the initial phase, the AI bot will be introduced to the SnapChat+ subscribers for a test, which will be out this week itself. The very social India platform has also asked users to give their feedback to make the chatbot better for its future usage.
