Nidhi Tiwari is a 2014 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, earlier working as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Now she has been given a new responsibility as the Personal Secretary to the Prime Minister. Her duties will include coordinating the daily tasks of the Prime Minister, organizing important meetings and maintaining coordination with various government departments.
Nidhi Tiwari’s Journey in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS)
Nidhi Tiwari secured 96th rank in the Civil Services Exam in 2013 and after that she started her career in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). She is a resident of Mehmoorganj area of Varanasi and had earlier worked as Under Secretary in the Division of Disarmament and International Security Affairs in the Ministry of External Affairs. In November 2022, she was appointed Deputy Secretary of PMO.
