We all are well aware of Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi’s recently released web series Farzi. It’s a crime thriller that focuses on a painting artist who starts making fake money.
Talking of leading ladies, the series features beautiful actresses Raashi Khanna and Regina Cassandra. But apart from them, there is one more girl who is grabbing the audience’s attention, even more than Raashi and Regina.
Her name is Kavya Thapar and she is playing the role of Shahid Kapoor’s love interest in Farzi. If you don’t know her, let me tell you it’s not the first time she appeared on the screen.
Kavya has already worked in various south Indian movies and one Hindi film “Middle-Class Love.” Her south movies include Ee Maya Peremito, Market Raja MBBS, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, Ek Mini Katha, and Pichaikkaran 2.
Apart from this, Kavya also appeared in various album songs on Youtube. It includes Gora Chitta Rang, Baarish Ke Din, Peene Ke Baad Senti, etc.

Kavya Thapar Has More Screentime in Farzi Season 2
In the recent interaction with the media, Kavya Thapar talked about her role in Raj and DK’s web series Farzi. She also mentioned her role in season 2 and her experience working with Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor.

Kavya said, “I play the part of Ananya who is Shahid Kapoor’s girlfriend in the show. Her character is an integral part of the story as she is this rich, obnoxious woman who doesn’t accept her boyfriend’s financial status publicly.”
She continued, “That somewhere influences Sunny (Shahid’s character) and his future actions. I have an introductory part in season 1, but in season 2 my character will be developed further.”
“It was amazing to get a chance to work with Shahid Kapoor. He is a natural actor obviously and has a charm that you can’t deny.”
