WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has taken a break from his Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president post. However, he hasn’t resigned yet, but it seems like the matter of protest against the WFI management will keep him busy for a while.
According to WFI, Brij Bhushan has not been terminated nor resigned from the post.
Brij Bhushan recently said that he has arranged a meeting with other WFI members on 22nd January. He might officially resign after the meeting that is to be held tomorrow.
Wrestlers Against WFI President Brij Bhushan
The wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar have finally put an end to the protest after 3 days. Wrestlers have ended the protest in hopes of getting justice, but it seems like they will revive the protest as they fear that no changes will be made.
The matter might cool down after wrestlers have stopped the protest, which might result in the rejuvenation of the protest. Wrestlers will not stop and will prominently raise in their voices against the culprits.
Despite the protest, people were seen supporting WFI President Brij on social media:
