The Last of Us is all set to release its first season in January 2023.

Troy Baker,portrayed the character of Joel in The Last Of Us Part I and Part II.

He said that he was "inspired" by Pedro Pascal's performance as the character in the upcoming TV adaptation.

The Last of Us is based on the first video game by the same name in the beloved franchise.

It will also reportedly incorporate some portions of the storyline of The Last of Us: Left Behind.

The 2013 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment

The live-action series is executive produced and co-written by "Chernobyl" creator Craig Mazin and original game writer by "Neil Druckmann".

The first season of The Last of Us will consist of nine episodes.

The first teaser of the upcoming show was first released in September.

The series is set to debut on January 15, 2023, on HBO.
