Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant met with an accident near Uttarakhand’s Roorkee early on Saturday morning.

He was alone in the car when his Mercedes GLE car hit the driver railings on Delhi-Haridwar highway.

The time of this horrible accident is at around 5:30 am.

He has been admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun.

"Hearing a loud sound of the accident", nearby villagers along with local cops, rushed to the spot and pulled him out of the car.

The car caught fire and he came out after breaking its window- Said Ajai singh(senior Superintendent)

Cops said that the cricketer suffered serious injuries in right leg and forehead.

He was out of danger and has been referred to Dehradun for treatment.

Chief Minister Pushkar singh wished him speedy recovery and said State Govt. will bear expenses for the treatment of cricketer

After Pant's horrific accident, former and current cricketers took to social media and posted messages for his speedy recovery.
