PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 5138 Vacancies Announced, Apply Online from Feb 8

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has announced a recruitment drive for 5,138 apprentice positions across its branches under the Apprentices Act 1961 This offers a great opportunity for young aspirants aiming for a career in banking.

The application process for these positions will start on February 8, 2026, and will be open until February 24, 2026 Interested candidates can apply through the bank's official website.

Candidates must be graduates from a recognized university and aged between 20 and 28 years as of January 1, 2026 There is an age relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules.

Selected apprentices will undergo a one-year training program and receive a monthly stipend Trainees in rural, semi-urban, and urban branches will get ₹12,300, whereas those in metro city branches will receive ₹15,000.

The application fee varies by category: ₹944 for General, OBC, and EWS (male), ₹708 for General, OBC, and EWS (female), and ₹236 for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates

The selection process includes an online written examination followed by a local language test The exam will cover general/financial awareness, English, quantitative and reasoning aptitude, and computer knowledge.

Candidates who pass the written examination will proceed to document verification and a medical examination
