The scrip fell as much as 5.56 per cent to hit a low of Rs 694.05 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE)

IRCTC shares were trading at Rs 701 on the NSE and were down by Rs 33.70 4.59 per cent around 10 am

Around 42 lakh shares were on the block on NSE around this time.

The promoter (Government of India) proposes to sell up to 2,00,00,000 equity shares of IRCTC.

The floor price for the OFS has been fixed at Rs 680 a share,it currently holds a 67.4 % stake in the company.

Government will sell its 2.5 per cent stake on Thursday (T day).

On 16 December (T+1 day) it will sell 2.5 per cent stake.

The government will sell its share via OFS where 2.5 percent shares will be sold through the green shoe option.

The stock has been out of action over the last 5-6 months.

The stock hit its 52-week high of Rs 918.65 on 17 January, 2022 and Hit 52-week low of Rs 557 within a span of six months.
