The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) has recently announced a list of 301 films eligible for Oscars.

The list includes four Indian films - “RRR”, “Gangubai Kathiawadi”, “The Kashmir Files” and “Kantara”.

Pan Nalin's "The Last Film Show" has been chosen as India's official entry to the Oscars.

Four films, "Chhello Show", "RRR", "All That Breathes" and "The Elephant Whisperers", have been selected for the Oscars shortlists in four categories from the list of films.

The inclusion of the films in the list does not guarantee that they will be selected in the final list of nominees.

The Academy Awards will be declared on the 24th of January.

Accompanying "The Last Film Show" are Vivek Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files", the Marathi works "Me Vasantrao" and "Tujhya Sathi Kahi Hi", R Madhavan's "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect", "Iravin Nizhal", and the Kannada film "Vikrant Rona"

Two documentaries, "All That Breathes" by Shaunak Sen and "The Elephant Whisperers" by Kartiki Gonsalves, are also included in the list.
