Mumbai Police announces curfew restrictions orde r till December 17

The curfew was imposed under Section 144 of the CrPC

Restrictions imposed in Mumbai to ensure peace and avoid disruptions in public order

Gathering of 4-5 people is prohibited under the curfew restrictions from December 3rd

Weapons like firearms, swords , and other such things are strictly prohibited

Sloganeering, Demonstrations, and Performances of songs also banned

Social gatherings at large levels including Marriage Ceremonies and Funeral Meetings are prohibited

Strict actions will be taken against those found violating the orders

The police department clarifies that it is just a routine order
