Casio Pro Trek PRG-69 Launched: Bold Angular Design, Triple Sensor & Solar Power

Casio has launched the Pro Trek PRG-69 series, marking a significant design shift with a bold angular case, departing from the traditional round design, to cater to modern outdoor enthusiasts in 2026

The series includes three models: PRG-69-1, PRG-69-4, and PRG-69B-1, which take inspiration from the PRW-6900 but enhance it with a distinctive octagonal case that stands out

Constructed with flame-retardant, bio-based resin, the watch is designed for durability in outdoor conditions, featuring textured buttons for easy use even with gloves

The display utilizes a Duplex LCD, where the top layer shows large color compass graphics, and the bottom displays time and sensor data, ensuring clarity in outdoor environments

The Triple Sensor technology in the watch includes a digital compass, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer, making it highly functional for hikers and campers

The watch is powered by Tough Solar charging, providing reliable power without the need for frequent battery changes, although it lacks the Multiband 6 feature

Pricing for the PRG-69-1 and PRG-69-4 models starts at ¥29,700 in Japan and approximately €200 in Europe, with the PRG-69B-1 pricing yet to be confirmed
