DC Comics fans rejoice! Warner Bros. Has got a concrete step towards an ‘Aquaman’ series, hiring David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick to compose the script.
‘Aquaman 2’ will be made by ‘Aquaman’ director Peter Safran and James Wan reported Variety.
The film has over-performed for Warner Bros., reaching USD 328 million in North America and around USD 784 million internationally.

Presently, it is the 21st-highest worldwide grosser of all time.
‘Aquaman’ stars Jason Momoa as the name character, with Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson,Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman in supporting roles.
The original manuscript for ‘Aquaman’ was penned by Johnson-McGoldrick and Beall from a tale by Beall, Wan, and, Geoff Johns who also directed both ‘Conjuring’ films.
Johnson-McGoldrick commenced working on the script three years ago after reciting ‘Aquaman’ comic books while on the set of ‘The Conjuring 2.’
Earlier last week, Warner Bros. had also disclosed that it was developing ‘The Trench’, a spinoff horror film to ‘Aquaman’.
