It had many great features, which made it quite premium. It had features like 360-degree camera, four-zone climate control, 19-speaker, 1,400W Bowers & Wilkins audio system, massaging and ventilated front seats, ADAS suite (advanced driver-assistance system), air suspension.

This Volvo car was assembled in India and its last ex-showroom price was Rs 68.25 lakh. In the Indian market, it used to compete with Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series. It lagged behind in terms of technology and powertrain options available in these cars, due to which its sales were less than expected.

The second facelift of Volvo S90 has already been introduced at the global level. The new S90 has a changed exterior design, new technology with a larger touchscreen and updated mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. Volvo also introduced an all-electric sibling, the ES90, this March, which is powered by a 106kWh battery that offers a range of over 700km.
