Vivo X200 Series Confirmed to Launch on October 14, Here’s All You Need to Know

Vivo X200 Series: The Vivo lineup is expected to include Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Mini models. The next-generation Vivo X200 will feature significant upgrades over its predecessor Vivo X100. Unlike the X100’s curved edges and display, the X200 will have flat edges.

The upcoming series may include Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Mini. All three phones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset and all will have a Zeiss camera system.

  1. As per the alleged official images, all three models in the Vivo X200 series carry a similar design language, which sets them apart from the crowd.
  2. The phones have a large circular module on the back panel to house the camera sensors. We also see Zeiss branding within the layout.
  3. The Vivo X200 series has a boxy chassis with rounded corners.
  4. This means we could see a flat display, which hasn’t been revealed in the images by the way.
  5. In comparison, the previous model had a design with curved edges.
  6. The volume and power buttons are present on the right side.
  7. The overall rear design of the phone seen in the promotional image matches the teaser poster officially shared by the brand.
  8. The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro should be available in white, black, blue and titanium colours. At the same time, the Vivo X200 Pro mini image shows white, black, pink and green colour options.

  1. Chipset: The Vivo X200 series phones are expected to get the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. While the previous series had the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
  2. Camera: The Vivo X200 can get a 50MP primary camera with OIS technology, an ultra-wide-angle sensor, as well as a 70mm periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. At the same time, Vivo X200 Pro can have a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.
  3. Battery and Charging: Vivo X200 can be given a 5,600mAh battery with 90W wired charging. While Vivo X200 Pro is expected to have a 6,000mAh battery.
  4. Others: The upcoming Vivo X200 series phones can support IP68 or IP69 water and dust resistance rating. At the same time, optical fingerprint sensor and ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor can also be available for security.

The company has announced that the Vivo X200 series will be launched in China on October 14. It will be launched in Beijing in 2018. More information about it is expected to emerge in the coming days, as the official launch is still about a month away.

Vivo has not yet revealed how many smartphones will be launched under this series, but it is expected that it will include at least two phones. Which may include Vivo X200 and X200 Pro. Although it is not confirmed yet, just like the X100 series, the Vivo X200 lineup could be announced in India in January of the new year 2025.
