Vivo launched its latest foldable smartphone, Vivo X Fold 5, in China on 26 June. At the same time, now the company has officially shared the teaser of its launch in India as well. Which has surfaced on the social media platform X.

- Vivo India has posted a teaser video on its X handle in which the device has been described as “Everything Re-imagined”.
- The company has indicated that this smartphone will come with a lightweight and slim design. It will have a large, bright and foldable inner display.
- With the “Coming Soon” tagline in the teaser, it is clear that the launch is imminent.
- Although the launch date has not been revealed, it is expected that the device will enter the market in the first or second week of July.

Features of Vivo X Fold 5
This foldable phone from Vivo X Fold 5 comes with an 8.03-inch 8T LTPO flexible main display. Apart from this, a 6.53-inch 8T LTPO secondary display will also be available in the phone. Both these displays support 120Hz high refresh rate and peak brightness feature up to 4500 nits. It has many certifications, including PWM dimming rate, Global Eye Protection 3.0.
Vivo X Fold 5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. With this, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage support will be available. This foldable phone works on OriginOS 5 based on Android 15. Apple ecosystem compatibility has also been provided in this phone for iPhone users.
There is a triple camera setup in the back of this foldable phone. The phone will have a 50MP main camera. Apart from this, a 50MP ultra wide and a 50MP periscope lens have been given. The camera of this phone will support up to 3x optical zoom. A 20MP camera will be available in the phone for selfies and video calling.
This phone comes with a powerful 6,000mAh battery. It will get 80W wired and 40W wireless fast charging support. The thickness of this foldable phone without folding is just 4.03mm. At the same time, after folding, its thickness is 9.2mm. It gets IPX8, IPX9, and IPX9 + ratings, due to which the phone does not get damaged even if immersed in water.
