Vivo is going to launch the new smartphone of its series Vivo V50e on April 10. The company had already announced Vivo V50, which saw great camera upgrades. Design and Build Quality
Both the smartphones have the same camera design which includes a pill-shaped camera module and LED ring light. However, Vivo V50e can be given a larger ring light to improve low-light photography. V50e can get IP68 and IP69 ratings while V40e was given IP64 protection.
Display Enhancements and Protection
When it comes to the display, both smartphones feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED panel. The V40e offers a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the upcoming V50e is expected to deliver an upgraded experience with a sharper 1.5K resolution.
Performance and Battery Life
The Vivo V40e works on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and it is believed that the same chipset will be available in the V50e, but with better RAM and storage. The V50e can get 5600mAh battery and 90W fast charging support, which is slightly better than the 5500mAh battery of the V40e.
Camera Upgrades and Features
Both smartphones have a primary camera with 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, but the V50e will get OIS support and portrait zoom features like 1x, 1.5x, 2x. Both have a 32MP front camera for selfies.
Price and Launch Date
The V50e could be priced around ₹28,999, which was the starting price of the V40e.
