Vivo S20 Series: Vivo has announced the launch date after revealing the design and main specifications of its upcoming series Vivo S20. In this series, the company is bringing Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro smartphones, which are successors to Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro. They were launched in May. After being launched in China, the Vivo S20 series phones can be launched in India and other markets under the V branding.
Vivo S20 Series launch date
Vivo has officially posted on Weibo that the upcoming Vivo S20 series will enter China on November 28 at 7 pm Indian time. The company will stream the event on its website for this.
Expected specifications
A company official has recently revealed some details of the Vivo S20 series phones.
- Display: The Vivo S20 series phones may feature a BOE Q10 OLED screen, but the display size is not yet known, but the previous model has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display.
- Chipset: The vanilla variant is expected to have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. While the Pro variant will have a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset.
- Rear Camera: The S20 Pro will have a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens.
- Selfie Camera: The Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro are expected to have a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
- Battery: The Vivo S20 will have a 6,500mAh battery, while the Vivo S20 Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery.
Design
Talking about the design, the Vivo S20 and Vivo S20 Pro have an oval-shaped camera module with two cameras housed in a circular module. However, the Pro variant has another sensor, which is placed outside the circular module. Both models have Aura LED light on the camera module. While the vanilla model has flat edges, the Pro model has slightly curved edges. At the same time, the power and volume buttons appear on the right side.
Vivo V40 Series
In August this year, Vivo launched the Vivo V40 series in India, with two models. The Vivo V40 5G smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and an Adreno 720 GPU for graphics support. At the same time, the Pro variant has been introduced with MediaTek’s powerful Dimensity 9200+ SoC.
