Viral: People Form Human Chain To Safeguard School Children Amidst Delhi

Currently, North-East is experiencing the worst riots and violence over the much controversial Citizenship Amendment Act. A video is doing rounds online showing the people of Yamuna Vihar, forming a long chain to make sure the safety and protection of Students amid the anti-Citizenship Amended Act in Northeast Delhi.

A twitter user shared the video of the incident with the caption, “This is happening now at Yamuna Vihar in East Delhi. Locals form a human chain to escort schoolchildren to safety. Police are nowhere to be seen. Remember this is Delhi, barely 20 km north of Hyderabad House, the site of Modi-Trump joint statement an hour or so back.”

As per the latest breaking news. Till now, more than 18 lives have lost their lives owing to the massive violence. Many families have changed the area and have migrated to somewhere out of danger. It is unfortunate and upsetting how bad a tie it is for the north-east Delhi residents.

In the viral video, you can see the residents of Yamuna Vihar made a long chain to escort school students to reach school safely. As the video gets viral, twitter has been filled with reactions.

A twitter user wrote, “These are the small things that just remind me that humanity is still not strangled a political death.”

Twitterati lauded the humanity shown by the people. People forming long chains saw no class, caste, and religion and were too concerned for the kid’s safety.
