UP Deputy CM Announces Final Name for Lucknow After Change!! Check Out…

UP Deputy CM has finally urged to rename Lucknow, the city of Uttar Pradesh. The city is currently known as the “City of Nawabs” since the Mughals ruled the city in ancient times. According to the ancient revealing, Lord Ram, King of Ayodhya gifted Laxmanpur (currently Lucknow) city to his brother Laxman. The city was famously known as the “City of Laxman” during the Treta Yug. Mughals changed the name of the city to Lucknow.

New Name of Lucknow

Sangam Lal Gupta, Member of Parliament, Uttar Pradesh took the matter of the new name of Lucknow to Parliament. He wrote a letter to UP CM Aditya Yoginath, Home Minister Amit Shah, and PM Narendra Modi suggesting them the new name of Lucknow. He suggested they change Lucknow’s name to ‘Lakhanpur’ or ‘Laxhmanpuri’.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak made an announcement regarding the new name of Lucknow. He made this announcement during his tour to Bhadohi on Wednesday. During the tour, he announced various schemes and development works for the district. He later revealed the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Suriyava.

UP Deputy CM’s Statement

UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak made a big announcement after Sangamlal wrote a letter to PM Modi regarding the new name of Lucknow.  He said that Lucknow was widely known as ‘Laxmanpuri’ during Treta Yug. He further called the city by the name ‘Laxman Nagri’. It is very clear that the new name of Lucknow has been chosen and soon the name of the city will be changed officially.
