#BoycottFilmFare I am not an expert in this field.I can consider that they may have different parameters for selcting "Tu nanga hi toh Aaya thaa" instead of "Teri Mitti".But I find it difficult to understand how can someone ignore Teri Mitti. What did it lack cmpared to others. pic.twitter.com/DAG7DjtoHD

Even Teri Mitti lyricist took to his official twitter account to express his feelings that he bid Filmfare awards final goodbye and swore never to visit any awards functions till his last breath.
Good bye Awards..!!! pic.twitter.com/iaZm0za40u

He wrote, “You failed to honor the words which made millions of Indians cry and care for their motherland. It would be a great disrespect to my art if I still continue caring for you. So here I bid you a final goodbye. I officially announce- I won’t attend any award show till I breathe my last. Alvida.”
Ananya Panday won in a year which saw promising debut performances in The Notebook and Soni. Goes on to show what a damn joke #Filmfare is. Award ceremonies have completely lost their credibility. It's no longer about awarding good work.
