Not in his wildest dreams, Sumit Nagal would have thought that his life would change overnight!

Born with a silver spoon in mouth, Nagal played the first match of his Grand Slam Career against the mighty Roger Federer, and delivered a sheer, worth to be remembered performance!

What a debut performance!

Sumit Nagal put in a spirited performance as he made his #USOpen2019 main draw debut against the five-time champion @rogerfederer at Flushing Meadows.

The chances of victory were obviously slim, but to start the career against the King of Clay Court, is phenomenal in itself.

But noted in attention, his approach towards the match against the legend, was nowhere near that of a noob, or of someone who might be intimidated by his opponent!

He even gave Federer a scare for a moment by defeating him in the first set 6-4.
Although he ultimately went down 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4, but People ain't stop gushing about the spirit with which he played!

Although he bent the knee against the mighty King of Clay, the fact that he defeated Roger Federer in very the first set of his Grand Slam career is something not- forgettable!
