TVS iQube: Big news has come for those who buy electric scooters. Yes, TVS Motor Company has cut the prices of the base model as well as the S and ST variants of its best-selling scooter iQube. Along with this, the company has introduced the iQube ST with a larger 5.3kWh battery pack, which has increased the single charge range to 212 km. Also, features like beige inner apron and pillion backrest have also been added to this model.

Range will be up to 212 km
TVS iQube S now has a 3.5 kWh battery pack, while the old version had a 3.3 kWh unit. Then there is the ST which earlier had a 5.3 kWh battery pack and now gets a slightly smaller 5.1 kWh unit. The iQube S with a 3.5 kWh battery pack has a range of 145 km, while the iQube ST with a 5.1 kWh battery pack has a range of 212 km. Both these range figures are from IDC.
Changes:
Along with the changes mentioned above, the TVS iQube also gets design changes. Notably, it now gets a beige inner panel, dual-tone seat and pillion backrest for extra support, which makes the pillion rider more comfortable during long-distance journeys. The dual-tone brown seat helps make the scooter look even more premium.
Apart from this, many features have been given in this scooter including a touchscreen display, which includes features like voice-assisted and Alexa-enabled commands, turn-by-turn navigation, tire pressure monitoring system, USB charging port, 32-liter under-seat storage and 7-inch touchscreen in the top trim.
What’s new?
Both the TVS iQube S and ST variants have new beige panels, dual-tone brown and beige seats and pillion backrests. In terms of features, all versions of this electric scooter have been upgraded to the previous model.
1. TVS iQube
This is its base variant. Its 2.2kWh battery pack is priced at Rs 94,434, which is Rs 2,865 cheaper than the previous price. Talking about its larger battery pack variant, it now has a 3.5kWh battery, which was earlier a 3.4kWh battery. The price of the model with this battery pack has gone up to Rs 1,08,993, which is Rs 10,635 cheaper than before.
2. TVS iQube S
This also now comes with a bigger battery pack. It has a 3.5kWh battery pack, which was earlier 3.4kWh. It gives a range of 145 km on a single charge. Its price has also come down even after getting the upgrade. This scooter is now priced at Rs 1,17,642, which is Rs 11,778 cheaper than before.
3. TVS iQube ST
This has also been upgraded with a bigger battery. It has a 3.5kWh battery pack, which was earlier 3.4kWh battery. This variant is now priced at Rs 1,27,935, which is Rs 10,620 cheaper than before. Its top spec variant has a slightly bigger 5.3kWh battery. The biggest drop in price has been seen in its top model ST. It is now available at Rs 1,58,834 ex-showroom, which is Rs 26,539 cheaper than before. It will give a range of up to 212km on a single charge.
