TVS has launched the cheapest base variant of its commuter bike TVS Radeon. Which makes the bike even more affordable. This bike is now available in three variants – Base, Digi Drum and Digi Disc, whose ex-showroom price is just Rs 58,880.
TVS Radeon Features and Design
The Radeon has a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters and its curb weight is 113 kg (drum) and 115 kg (disc). The commuter has a good ground clearance of 180 mm. All variants of the bike get 18-inch alloy wheels. While other features include color LCD screen and USB charging port.
TVS Radeon Engine & Performance
The TVS Radeon is powered by a 109.7 cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 8.08 bhp at 7350 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 4500 rpm, paired to a 4-speed gearbox. The bike is built on a single cradle tubular frame and gets telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear.
Safety and Braking System
The TVS Radeon is built on a single cradle tubular frame. Talking about the suspension, it gets telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear. Braking power comes from a 130 mm front drum brake, while the top variant gets a 240 mm front disc and a drum brake at the rear. The rear has a 110 mm drum brake setup. The Radeon has a Combined Braking System (CBS).
