The most intriguing disclosure from the meeting was that televisions are dealing with camera-based frameworks to identify regardless of whether the rider is wearing a head protector. Since AI has made it possible for cameras to determine whether a rider is wearing a helmet or not, traffic cameras powered by AI have been in use in Kerala recently. In the state, riders and pillion riders are required to wear helmets, and anyone caught without one can get a challan from the cameras. The TVS system will likely operate on a similar basis and be able to use a dashboard camera to automatically determine whether a helmet is present or absent.
