TVS Motor India has launched a new top stock of its classic bike Apache RTR 160 4V. The new price has been kept at RS 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This bike is the most expensive. Apache RTR 160 4V is now available in a total of 7 Variant. This new variant has been introduced with shining golden colored upside down (USD) front forks, stubbier bullpup exhaust and three new color options. This includes Granite Grey, Matte Black and Pearl White.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Features
For comfort riding, the top variant of Apache RTR 160 4V has a new Up Side Down (USD) fork at the front and an adjustable monoshock unit at the rear. For braking, there is a 240mm disc brake on the rear wheel.
Talking about the features, TVS SmartConnect system will be available in the motorcycle. It includes features like turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, race telemetry, adjustable brake and clutch levers, lean angle mode, crash alert, low fuel warning and voice assist.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Design
The look of the new variant of Apache RTR 160 4V is similar to the existing model. It has a muscular fuel tank, single-piece seat, split grab rail, adjustable brake and clutch lever. The bike has an instrument console that supports Bluetooth, aggressive LED headlights with LED DRL.
TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Performance
No mechanical changes have been made in the bike. For performance, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has a 159.7cc, single-cylinder, 4 valve air/oil-cooled engine, which is connected with a 5-speed gearbox for transmission. With this, three riding modes are available – Urban, Rain and Sport.
The engine generates power of 15.64 PS and maximum torque of 14.14 Nm in urban and rain modes. Whereas, in sport mode it generates power of 17.55 PS and maximum torque of 14.73 Nm. The top speed of the bike is 103kmph in urban and rain mode and 114kmph in sport mode. It also gets Glide Through Technology (GTT) with race tuned fuel injection system, adjustable clutch and brake lever.
