Companies are now offering a discount of at least Rs 1 lakh on EVs launched in the year 2024 and 2025. At the same time, the maximum discount is Rs 15 lakh on the Kia EV6 model.

Electric vehicle (EV) sales in the country have slowed down. While sales of all types of EVs declined by 1.9% year-on-year in February, electric car sales fell by more than 20% to 8968 units in February compared to January 2025.
