A German and Real Madrid mid-fielder Toni Kroos announced his retirement this summer from professional football after the Euro 2024. He announced his retirement on Instagram. The 34–34-year-old Real Madrid player trophy-laden will end this summer at the European League Championship.
He retired earlier from the international platform in the year 2021 but came out of it in February at the behest of his German coach Julian Nagelsmann.

Toni Kroos first signed a contract with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga at the age in 17 in September 2007..and went on to win the first three German league titles that season.
He was also part of the club’s Champions League title win in a Champions League Title 2013. He did not play in the finals. After that, he was signed by Real Madrid in the year 2014 and since then never left the club.
He made a total of 463 appearances including four Champions League, five club World Cups, and four La Liga titles.
There were reports in Spain that he was offered a new contract along with fellow veteran Luka Modric but he called for retirement and will play the last game at the Euro Championship that will begin on June 2024.
