Tiffany Haddish Would ‘Love’ to Host the Oscars but not alone

Famous American comedian-actor Tiffany Haddish conveyed her wish for hosting Oscars sometimes but not on her own, only if she could share that responsibility with a co-host.

As per Variety, The American actor said that she would love to host the duties with Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph.

“I would love to do it one day with Maya or even with Will Arnett. I would love to do it with someone. I don’t need all that responsibility on my shoulders — it’s already hard enough being the queen,” she told Variety.

“I don’t need all that responsibility on my shoulders it’s already hard enough being the queen,” she added.

When asked if the Academy had approached her for hosting this year’s ceremony, Tiffany shot back saying, “That’s none of your business. I’m not doing it.”

The Oscars ceremony is supposed to go on without a host for the first time in three decades after star-comedian Kevin Hart moved down from the post following a fuss over his old homophobic tweets that resurfaced on the internet last December.

Numerous names have been looked at since then as potential Academy Awards hosts, with the club of Tiffany and fellow actor-comedian Maya collecting popularity after their presentation of the best documentary and best short feature at the 2018 Oscars.

Variety previously declared that the current plan is that producers will choose a group of A-listers to organize and present various segments in place of relying on one host for the award ceremony.
The ceremony is set up to be held on February 24.
