This State Has The World’s Largest Cricket Bat, Guess Its Weight?

Just a day before India vs Pak ICC T20 World Cup match, the world’s largest cricket bat was unveiled. Former captain Mohammad Azharuddin inaugurated a 56.1 feet long bat for the Sunday-Funday event.

The bat is not only longest but heaviest too and weighs 9000 kilograms. It is manufactured by Pernod Ricard India Private Limited. The bat is kept at the Tank Bund, Telangana for display.

Telangana is now officially the state with World’s largest cricket bat as it is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.

However, this is not the first time India has got such a massive cricket bat. Earlier, in 2019 Kapil Dev inaugurated a 51 feet long bat at a campaign held in Chennai. It weighed 6600 kilos and was also listed in the Guinness record.

Telangana’s Floral Festival Screened On Burj Khalifa, Dubai 

Another joyous moment for Telangana is 9 days long Bathukamma festival. Dubai, the location of ICC T20 World Cup, celebrated the festival as well by covering the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa in the colors of Bathukamma.

Flowers, Telangana CM Chandrashekhar Rao, and India’s map was also screened on the building yesterday night. Viewers swelled in pride seeing their local festival getting importance on the global stage.

Bathukamma is celebrated every year in Andhra Pradesh and majorly in Telangana from the beginning of Navratri.
