Now it’s time to hand over the toughest responsibility on the shoulders of a capable leader, Who’s next after Virat Kohli as T20I Captain?

Ravi Shastri revealed the name of that player who perfectly fits to take this new job during a press conference on Monday.

“I think in Rohit you’ve got a very capable guy, he’s won so many IPLs and he’s the vice-captain of this side. He’s ready in the wings to take that job,” said Shastri.

Rohit Sharma is undoubtedly the star player of the Indian cricket team. He has won 72 IPL matches with a winning rate of 60.16, higher than Kohli. Though the two are incomparable, Rohit is a legend and the Mumbai Indians captain also has a history of successful performances as skippers in IPL.

His bat hits run once he enters the field. The right-handed batsman has scored 3047 runs in Test format, 9205 in ODI, and 3038 in T20I (third to score 3000 plus in T20). Rohit has several records in his bucket.
