Banks are closed on 29 April on the occasion of Lord Parshuram Jayanti. However, there is a bank holiday only in Shimla on this day, in other places, banks will continue to work like normal days.

Labor Day is celebrated on May 1 and Maharashtra Day is also on this day. On this day, while all the banks in Maharashtra are closed, the stock market is also closed. On May 1, there will be a bank holiday in Bengaluru, Belapur, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Imphal, Kolkata, Nagpur, Patna, Panaji and Thiruvananthapuram.
