Galaxy S24 FE spotted on Geekbench
- The Galaxy S24 FE has been spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-S721N, which is said to be the South Korean version of the phone.
- The listing shows that the Galaxy S24 FE is running on the in-house ‘s5e9945’. This chipset is reportedly an underclocked version of the Exynos 2400 SoC that powers the flagship S24 series. This could also be the alleged Exynos 2400e for the Galaxy S24 FE.
- On Geekbench, the chipset has a maximum clock speed of 3.11GHz, which is lower than the Exynos 2400’s clock speed of 3.2GHz. It scored 1,625 single-core points and 5,698 multi-core points.
- The smartphone is also listed with 8GB of RAM, Samsung Xclipse 940 GPU, and Android 14.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE launch timeline (leaked)
Samsung is yet to announce the launch date of the Galaxy S24 FE, but according to a report by ETNews, the upcoming FE model could officially launch globally in the month of October. This timing can be considered accurate as the predecessor model Galaxy S23 FE also arrived in India around the same time last year.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Expected Specifications
- Display: According to previous leaks, Samsung’s new Fan Edition model can get a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1,900 nits peak brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus support can be there to protect this screen.
- Chipset: The new mobile can be launched with Exynos 2400 chipset. It is also given in the previously launched Galaxy S24 and S24 +.
- Camera: Triple camera setup can be installed in Samsung Galaxy S24 FE which can have a 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide camera and 8MP camera with 3x optical zoom. At the same time, a 10MP front camera is expected for selfie and video calling.
- Battery: Samsung Galaxy S24 FE can be given a 4,565mAh battery. Reportedly it can give up to 29 hours of video playback and up to 78 hours of music playback time backup.
- Others: Galaxy AI features can be found in Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. In which many features like Portrait Studio, Circle to Search, Generative Edit, Sketch to Image and Live Translate can be found.
- OS: Talking about the operating system, Samsung Galaxy S24 FE mobile can be based on Android 14 based One UI 6.1.1.
