He said, ‘We used to ask the channel why they are closing the show. There was a close competition between KBC and us. Yes, the TRP had fallen a little but which show’s TRP does not fall? Before closing the show, they tampered with the schedule. Earlier it used to come at 10 pm, then it started coming at 10:30 pm and sometimes at 10:45 pm. This distracted the viewers.’
Wanted to change producer
Shivaji Satam hinted that the reason behind the show being shut down was a rift between the channel and the producer. He said, ‘Maybe they had a problem with the producer and wanted to change him. But for us, it was not just a matter of loyalty but also friendship. We grew together, we were a team.’
