The person who threatened to kill Shahrukh Khan on November 5 has been arrested. The actor’s team had lodged a complaint against the threat maker at Bandra Police Station, after which police investigation was started. The number from which he was threatened was registered in the name of Faizan Khan, a lawyer living in Raipur.
According to the report, on Tuesday morning Mumbai Police CSP Ajay Singh and his team reached Raipur with transit remand. Here Faizan was arrested from his house. Today he will be presented in the court. The police reached Faizan Khan a few days after receiving the threat, although he had said that he would come to Mumbai to record his statement on 14 November.
Faizan is Also Receiving Threats
Faizan Khan’s family claims that Mumbai Police had already reached them, but Faizan Khan had appealed to Bandra Police Station on 14 November to record his statement. According to the family, Faizan has been receiving death threats for the last few days and is also receiving threats.
Therefore, he had requested the Mumbai Police Commissioner that in view of security, instead of coming to Mumbai himself, he would appear before him through audio-video. However, now Mumbai Police has arrested him.
Said in Threat
According to the DCP, a call was received from an unknown number at Bandra Police Station. In this the caller threatened and said, I will kill Shahrukh of the band stand. If I am not given 50 lakhs, I will kill Shahrukh Khan. When the caller was asked his name, the reply was – It doesn’t matter to me, my name is Hindustani.
After receiving the complaint, three police officers from Mumbai reached Raipur. On Wednesday night he stayed in a hotel in Raipur. In the early morning, they went to Faizan’s house after checking the location of the mobile SIM in Pandari area. Interrogated for about 2 hours regarding the threatening call.
During interrogation, Faizan told that his mobile was lost on 2 November, the complaint of which he had lodged at Khamhardih police station on 4 November, whereas the phone call was made at Bandra police station on 5 November. Faizan was released after showing the copy of the complaint at the police station. He has been called to Mumbai on 14th November for questioning again.

Lawyer Faizan Khan disclosed that he saw a reel going viral on social media. This was a clip of Shahrukh Khan’s film Anjaam released in 1994, in which in a scene he is coming after hunting a deer with a gun in his hands. During this, he is telling his servant Hari Singh that there is a deer lying in the car, cook it and eat it, then an actress in the film asks Shahrukh Khan why he kills innocent animals. On this Shahrukh Khan is saying that he likes it, he enjoys it a lot.
Faizan told that the people of Bishnoi community worship the deer. One of the 29 religions of the society is to protect the deer. In such a situation, the faith of Bishnoi community has been hurt by Shahrukh Khan’s objectionable dialogue.
While describing the scene of the film Anjaam in the complaint, Faizan had said that Shahrukh Khan comes from a particular religion. They want to instigate riots by hurting Bishnoi community. In October, he had complained to the Mathania police station of Jodhpur in Rajasthan and the Bandra police, including the Mumbai police commissioner, regarding the police creating a rift between the two communities.
In the case, Faizan told that his SIM was used in the threatening call. They suspect that this is a conspiracy to trap them. He has complained about the matter to Raipur SSP Santosh Singh, in which he has described the threat to his family and his own life.
Received Threat Last Year Also
Shahrukh has always been in the hit list of the underworld. Even before this, he had been threatened with death several times in his career. Even in October last year, he had received death threats after the success of the films Pathan and Jawan. The actor had lodged a written complaint in this regard with the Maharashtra Police, after which he was given Y+ security.
