Recently, IMDB asked the fans to vote for the film they have been waiting eagerly. Surprisingly it is Parineeti’s next release. After getting this news, Parineeti wrote on Instagram,” I’m excited as well as nervous that with the teaser drop of the film TGOTT has been rated the most awaited film.”
Surely, it is because for the first time Parineeti will be seen in a different role. She played a character of eponymous girl, Meera who is a divorcee and struggling with herself.
In just 20 seconds of teaser, Parineeti succeed in convincing the audience that movie is going to be a biggest hit. Her marvelous acting skills compliments the fantastic story even though it is the remake of Hollywood original.

Based On Best Psychological Thriller Novel
Credit of this amazing story goes to the Paula Hawkins, a Zimbabwe born author. Her novel in the same name narrates the life of 3 different women and their relationship troubles and plot a murder mystery.
The novel became the best seller in 2015 and 2016. Millions of copies have been sold worldwide. There is also an audiobook edition of the novel which also won ” Audiobook of the Year” award in 2016.
Hollywood Vs Bollywood

A Hollywood original on the novel was made in 2016 starring Emily Blunt who did complete justice to the lead role of the movie. Now, there is a Bollywood version directed by Ribhu Dasgupta starring Kirti Kulhari, Aditi Rao, and Parineeti.
Obviously there would be comparison between the remake and original but unlike other remakes of Hollywood, this one is going to steal audience’s heart.
Audience’s reaction on the teaser is the proof. Parineeti called the movie a life changing experience for her as she tried her best to match the Emily’s performance.
It seems that she succeeds as reactions are positive till now. Even Priyanka Chopra appreciated her work and said, ” Can’t wait to see more,” after watching the teaser.
Parineeti’s Next In The Queue
A biopic on Siana Nehwal is in the queue which will also have an OTT release. Filmmakers, however, decided to release the biopic in theaters earlier which is postponed seeing the current situation of country due to covid-19.
Apart from biopic, she will be seen in an action thriller based movie whose title is yet to be revealed. Ribhu Dasgupta has directed the movie and Parineeti will play a role of undercover agent.
“Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar” is also in the queue which may release in March 2020. The film starrer Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
