Thank God Movie Lands to Court, Faces Boycott For Disrespecting Lord Chitragupta

Thank God Movie Faces Boycott Trend After Trailer Release

Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra’s first collaboration in Thank God movie did not start well as it joins the boycott trend after its trailer release.

Sidharth Malhotra’s romance with Nora Fatehi, Ajay’s dialogue delivery style, Rakul’s innocent role, and the background music of Manika Mange Hithe will surely entertain fans.

But the concept of adding Lord Chitragupta’s character has hurt the fans.

Lawyer Himanshu Srivastava of Jaunpur court is the petitioner who has filed the case against director Indra Kumar and lead male actors.

Why Thank God Movie is Facing Boycott?thank god movie release date

The entire matter revolves around the inappropriate depiction of Lord Chitragupta.

He is a God of Karma who gives punishment to humans basis on their deeds. In the movie, Ajay is playing the role of Chitragupta.

The actor is wearing a suit and goggles showing the modern version of God, the same as we saw in Oh MY GOD Movie.

Petitioner made allegations that filmmakers and actors have used objectionable language in the movie.

Seeing Ajay as Lord Chitragupta standing beside the barely clothed girls and cracking jokes is an insult to God. And portraying God in such a way hurts the sentiments of Hindus.

Especially the people belonging to Kayashta Community are unhappy with the Thank God movie cast and directors.

Kayastha is a disparate Indian community known as the descendants of Chitragupta.
