The messaging app Telegram has launched a new update that aims to provide users with more features and an improved experience. This update offers features such as hidden media, new drawing tools, profile pictures for contacts, and more.
Here are all the new features coming to Telegram with the latest update
Hidden media
This feature allows users to cover their images and videos with a shimmering layer. To view content, all your recipients have to do is tap once. To utilize this feature you can go to the attachment menu and choose one or more items. Then, press the ‘three dot’ icon and pick the ‘Hide with Spoiler’ option.

Zero storage usage
You can now save space on your device by deleting media and documents and downloading them from Telegram. The new auto-remove settings make it easier to manage the cached media from your Private Chats, Groups, and Channels. The pie charts give you a better visual representation of which items are taking up the most space, and the dedicated tabs for Media, Files and Music let you quickly clear the biggest items.

New drawing and text tools
Telegram has recently released an update that includes new drawing and text tools. The drawing tools adjust the width according to your speed of drawing and automatically smoothen the lines. Plus, there is a new blur tool to cover up sensitive data or unwanted visitors in photos. In addition, you can select colors from 5 high-precision options, as well as use the Eyedropper tool. Additionally, users can also modify the size, font type, and background when adding text to photos and videos.

Profile picture for your contacts
When editing your contacts, you can assign a personal picture to them that only you will be able to view on their profile. Additionally, you can suggest a profile picture to your contacts.

Public profile pictures
If you only want certain users to be able to view your profile pictures, you can now set a public profile picture on Telegram. You can also take it one step further and set the visibility to ‘Nobody’, and then add individual users or groups as exceptions.
Hiding group members
Chat admins of groups with 100+ members now have the option of using the aggressive anti-spam setting and concealing the member list, providing extra protection for members against unwanted personal messages. This allows them to keep their groups clean while also ensuring the privacy of their members.

New progress animations on Android
The app Telegram has made it easier for users to respond when they are talking to multiple people by introducing new fluid animations.

More interactive emoji
The latest update to the app has introduced several interactive emojis. If you want to watch full-screen effects in tandem with your chat partner, send a single 🎅🎄☃️💅🗿🆒🤪 in a 1-on-1 conversation and then tap on it. These emojis are now also available to use as reactions.
