Tata’s Tiago Partners With IPL To Boost EV Adoption

Tata Motors have openly publicized that Tiago.ev is now the official partner for the Indian Premier League 2023. This signifies the sixth back-to-back year of collaboration with the firm and the Board of Control for Cricket in India. 

As a member of this collaboration, the target of Tata Motors is to increase awareness regarding electric vehicles (EVs) and publicize its newly released premium electric hatch, the Tiago.ev.

The firm will use the IPL platform to display the new offering and involve the complete country through different types of activities.

Talking about the collaboration, Mr. Vivek Srivastsa, the head of marketing, sales, and service strategies, tata passenger electric mobility Ltd. revealed, “ We wish to democratize EVs in the country and educative the majority on Electric vehicles through an amalgamated ad campaign. 

This collaboration with India’s largest media property will aid us to point out the significance of EVs, not only in the posh regions of India but in the smaller towns also. We want to take immense value from this collaboration and accelerate the future of mobility by motivating the rapid adoption of EVs in India.

Tata Motors will also operate the ‘100 reasons to choose.ev with Tiago.ev’ campaign, which will concentrate on referring mental obstacles towards EV adoption by light-hearted and empathic examples. 

The Tiago.ev Electric Striker Award, arranged by the firm, will permit the valued trophy and a cash prize of INR 1,00,000 to the player having the most strike rate at the time of the match. 

Additionally, the winner of the Tiago.ev Electric Striker of the Season award will be given an opportunity to take away in an all-new Tata Tiago.ev. 

As a special step, Tata Motors will give INR 5,00,000 to improve the biodiversity of Coffee Plantations in Karnataka by planting saplings each and every time the Tiago.ev car on board gets struck by the ball.
