Tata Nexon FaceLift Interior To Borrow Heavily From Curvv SUV

The Tata Nexon facelift has been spotted several times and, as we’ve previously reported, it will go on sale this August. While all images so far have only given us a glimpse of the exterior design, we now have the first images of the interior of the Nexon facelift.

Like the exterior, the interior of the updated Nexon will also borrow heavily from the Curvv Concept. In fact, the spy images hint at a major overhaul of the interior with a significant step-up in equipment levels and quality.

Points To Be Noted:

  1. Nexon facelift interior to be inspired by Curvv Concept.
  2. Will get a new two-spoke steering wheel, and a larger infotainment screen.
  3. Nexon EV facelift will have slightly different design updates.

A brand-new two-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom that was previously seen on the Curvv concept is the feature that stands out the most in the most recent spy photos. There are a few toggle switches at each end of the steering wheel, as well as a number of touch-sensitive haptic buttons.

It will Have a Guilding Wheel:

The coolest thing about this guiding wheel, in idea structure, was a consistently coordinated illuminated Goodbye logo, despite the fact that it is not yet clear regardless of whether it comes to creation.

HVAC Control:

A redesigned center console with a new touch panel and toggle switches for the HVAC control, which is also partially visible, is a direct copy of the Curvv concept. As expected, Tata will also offer its new 10.25-inch touchscreen, indicating that the entire dashboard will probably be redesigned.

To meet BS 6 Phase 2 requirements, all Tata models, including the Tata Nexon, have recently been upgraded. According to reports, the all-new 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine that was shown off in the Curvv ICE concept will be included in the Nexon facelift. The new engine has 125 horsepower and 225 nm of torque, which is 5 horsepower and 55 nm more than the existing engine.

The 1.5-liter diesel with 115 horsepower will be included in the Nexon facelift as well. There is no clearness on the programmed gearbox decisions for the Nexon facelift at this point.

According to our sources, Tata Motors will produce approximately 15,000 units of both the gasoline and diesel models for the Nexon facelift by July 2023. Around the same time, production of the Nexon EV facelift will also begin, and 5,000 units are anticipated to be produced each month.

Price Range :

When it goes on sale, the Tata Nexon facelift will continue to compete with the likes of the Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, and Maruti Brezza. Its prices will be announced in August 2023, and they will be higher than those of the current model, which range from Rs 7.80 lakh to 14.35 lakh, ex-showroom.
