Tata Harrier EV Full Variant Prices Revealed: Starts at ₹21.49 Lakh

Tata Motors recently officially launched its new electric SUV Tata Harrier EV for sale. At the time of launch, the company had announced the prices of only its entry level variant. Now the prices of all the variants of this SUV coming with Real Wheel Drive system have been revealed. Its price starts from Rs 21.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 27.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The company has announced the prices of the rear wheel drive (RWD) models of Tata Harrier EV. While the prices of the Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) model will be announced on June 27.

The price of Tata Harrier EV Adventure 65 is Rs 21.49 lakh. While the price of Adventure S 65 is Rs 21.99 lakh and for Fearless + 65, customers will have to spend 23.99 lakh.

Apart from this, the Fearless + 75 variant of Harrier E LV is priced at Rs 24.99 lakh and Empowered 75 at Rs 27.49 lakh. Let us tell you that all the prices are ex-showroom.

Tata Harrier EV Design and Exterior Styling

Tata Motors has retained the bold and muscular styling of the original model in the Harrier EV. It has daytime-running lights (DRL) and headlamps similar to the diesel version. But it gets a new grille and bumper which gives it a different identity. Sharp creases and clean lines are seen on the exterior body. Apart from this, a strip of continuous LED DRL makes it more attractive.

The base variant of this electric SUV comes with features like 19-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, dual-tone paint, LED bi-projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lights, connected lights at both ends, roof rails, integrated side steps, rear wiper and washer, puddle lamps and shark-fin antenna. The Harrier EV is 2 mm longer and 22 mm taller than the standard Harrier diesel, although their wheelbases (2,741 mm) are the same.

Harrier EV Interior and Cabin Features

The Harrier EV comes with leatherette seat upholstery and dual-tone leatherette-wrapped steering wheel. This SUV will give an upmarket feel even in its base variant. It gets automatic climate control, 8-way driver and 4-way front passenger seat adjustment, rear AC vents, terrain mode, drive mode, drift mode, cruise control, dual 10.25-inch screens (one for infotainment and one for digital instrument cluster). Apart from this, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering wheel, iRA connected car technology, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and over-the-air (OTA) updates are included.

Battery, Range, and Charging Times

65kWh vs 75kWh Battery Options – As a powertrain, Tata Harrier EV has two battery packs, which include 65kWh and 75kWh batteries. Let us tell you that Tata Harrier EV with 75kWh battery pack offers its customers a driving range of 627 km on a single charge. While the real world mileage of Tata Harrier EV is 480 to 505 km.

Fast Charging and Real-World Range – Tata Harrier EV gets charged from 10 to 100 percent in 10.7 hours with a 7.2kW AC charger. Whereas with a 120kW DC fast charger, the battery of the SUV gets charged from 20 to 80 percent in 25 minutes.

Lifetime Warranty and New Architecture

Let us tell you that Harrier Electric is the country’s first electric car that comes with an all-wheel drive system. The company is giving a life-time warranty on its battery, no matter how many kilometers you have driven.

This decision of Tata Motors has freed electric car buyers from a big worry. Harrier EV is built on the acti.ev+ architecture. It has a dual-motor quad-wheel-drive (QWD) system and many premium features that make it stand out in the market.

Tata Motors has packed a lot of features in Harrier Electric. It has features like panoramic sunroof, Type-C 45 watt (65 watt in higher variant) super charger, boss mode, front powered memory seat, ventilated seat, comfortable headrest. It has features like Digital Key, Self Parking Assist, Vehicle to Load (V2L) and Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V).

Tata Harrier EV Rivals in the Market

Tata has brought Harrier EV in the premium electric SUV segment. In this segment, it competes directly with Electric SUVs like Mahindra BE6, Mahindra XEV9e, Hyundai Creta EV. Apart from these, it may soon face competition from SUVs and MPVs like Maruti E Vitara, Toyota Hyryder Electric, Kia Carens Clavis EV.

Safety features of Tata Harrier EV

The Harrier EV comes with features like six airbags (7 in Fearless and Empowered variants) for passenger safety, three-point seatbelts with reminders for all passengers, ESC, ISOFIX anchors for rear seats and a passenger-side airbag cut-off switch. Its top-spec Empowered trim also gets ADAS features.

The Harrier EV has scored a full 32 marks in the test conducted for adult safety, making it the second SUV to score maximum marks in the Bharat NCAP crash test.

The Harrier EV scored 45 out of 49 marks in the crash test conducted for child safety. It got full marks in the dynamic test (24/24) and CRS installation test (12/12) and 9 out of 13 marks in the vehicle evaluation test. Both child dummies, aged 18 months and 3 years, were tested in a rear-facing child seat in the front passenger seat for safety via ISOFIX anchorages and a support leg.
