TATA EV Production: Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, claimed the business is on schedule to release 10 electric vehicles over the next five years in an interview with car & bike on the sidelines of the media drive for the Tiago EV.

TATA Motors EV has already commenced the production of Electric vehicles in its facility. Shailesh Chandra has committed to launching 10 new TATA EV cars in 5 years. He further said that the company has already designed the development procedure. TATA Motors EV will launch 1-2 EV cars every year.

TATA Electric vehicles have already launched electric vehicles in their SUV and Sedan model and have also recently launched a new member to the TATA EV family- Tiago EV which is a descendent of the Tiago ICE version that has already been launched in the market. TATA Motors will launch Tiago EV in the market in January 2023.

TATA Motors has already launched four Electric vehicles from its end namely Nexon EV, Tigor EV, Tiago EV from the passenger vehicles and Xpress-T EV for the fleet segment. Out of these Tiago EV is ready to launch on January 23 in the next year.

TATA is also about to rejuvenate its SUV model Sierra Moniker into a new TATA EV monster. TATA has primarily focused on remodeling its fuel engine vehicles into EV cars and the company has been quite successful in the process by far.

The company has already prepared a list for future production and the next versions in its list are TATA Punch and Altroz. The Managing Director of TATA EV Production has said that the company has already prepared a chart for the other upcoming EV cars from its facility.
