Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIL) on Friday launched its first electric scooter E-Access and two other models at the India Mobility Expo 2025. The company also launched its first E-85 fuel-compliant motorcycle Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel for the Indian market. According to PTI news, E85, also known as flex fuel, is a mixture of gasoline and ethanol. The company has introduced this model while expanding its presence in the Indian two-wheeler market. India Mobility Expo 2025 (Auto Expo 2025) has been inaugurated today.
E Access Range
Powered by a 3.07 kWh battery made of lithium iron phosphate, the e-Access offers a range of 95 km. It offers a claimed top speed of 71 kmph and can be fully charged in 6 hours and 42 minutes using a portable charger and 2 hours and 12 minutes via a fast charger, SMIL claims.
E Access Features
It has a TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity. This console performs speedometer, odometer, range, battery, tripmeter and other basic readouts. Its connectivity features include turn-by-turn navigation and traffic updates. The E-Access comes with three ride modes, Eco, Ride A and Ride B. It also has a fob, which allows you to lock/unlock the scooter from a distance.
It has telescopic fork and monoshock. The electric scooter has 12-inch alloy wheels. It has 90-section tubeless tyres. Its seat height is 765mm, ground clearance is 165mm and curb weight is 122kg.
E Access Price
Suzuki E-Access can be launched in late 2025. It can be priced between Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.40 lakh ex-showroom. In the Indian market, it will compete with other electric scooters like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Ola S1 Air, upcoming Honda Activa e: and Vida V2.
