The American music world lost its legend David Crosby at the age of 81.
The tune of Rock is now silent. He was famous for playing alternate guitar tunings and Jazz music.
David Crosby is known for his famous rock songs like Eight Miles High, and Laughing songs life was not easy. He faced drug charges and arms possession and went to jail three times.
David Crossby died after a long illness of liver disease,type-2 diabetes, and a heart condition.
David Crosby’s Music Career
David Crosby’s musical career saw many hiatus. He began his career with the musical band The Byrds with Jim McGuinn and Gene Clark.
The Byrds gave excellent hits in 1966 “Eight Miles High” and 1988“Never Before”.
Later he joined the group Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1968. The trio produces American Dream, Live it up, After the Storm and Looking Forward, and many others.

David Crosby’s Personal Life and Health
David Crosby’s personal life saw multiple ups and down. He was first time sent to jail for drug and weapons offenses in 1985.
On March 7, 2004, Crosby was arrested for the illegal possession of weapons, ammunition, and marijuana.
Due to his continuous drug abuse, his health was affected badly.
His liver got failed and his liver transplant is highly publicized, which was paid for by Phil Collins in 1994.
His transplant created controversy because of his celebrity status and drug problems.
Crosby was treated for Type 2 diabetes and was treated for insulin.
In 2014 he underwent a cardiac angiogram. His long-term illness lead to his death on 18 January 2023.
