Bigwigs of Bollywood took to their official social media account to talk about the violence in northeast Delhi Yamuna Nagar over the controversial citizenship amendment Act. More than 18 lives have been lost, and more than 200 people were severely injured.

The condition has been serious in localities like Gokulpuri, Chand Bagh, Jaffrabad, Bhajanpura, and Karda, puri. From popular singer Sona Mohapatra calling the incidents ‘heartbreak’ to actresses Rekha Bharadwaj, Raveena Tandon praying for peace.  Have a look at what celebs are saying:

Also, famous stand-up comedian, Vir Das tweeted, “Dear Indian uncles who have spent years with silent pent up bigotry and racism in them who now casually pass that off as patriotism because it matches the govt narrative, Hating people isn’t the same thing as loving India. You’re not a patriot, you’re a goddam creep.”

Delhi violence For the past several days, there has been tension over CAA in the country’s capital, which has become very violent. Every part of the society has expressed concern about this and Bollywood is also not untouched by this. Many celebrities have shared their point of view on social media.
