Slack removes accounts related to hate groups


Slack announced that it has removed a bulk of accounts due to their association with the known hate groups. On the official blog of Slack, it announced that 28 accounts were removed.

The company insisted that the use of productivity service to arouse hatred and violence against groups of individuals is considered contradictory to Slack.

Also, Slack announced that it is updating its terms of service to make it clear-cut that organizations using Slack for illegal or restricted purposes will be investigated and actions will be taken.
