Shikhar Dhawan out of World Cup 2019 due a fracture in his thumb. The cricketer injured himself while defending the Champions Australia at the oval on Sunday.
Sustaining his injury through the match on Sunday he got a score of 117 against Australia. On Monday he had gone for a scan which reported a fracture in his thumb.

Shikhar Dhawan will therefore, not be able to play India’s upcoming matches against New Zealand, Pakistan, Afghanistan, West Indies and England.
Shikhar Dhawan was named man-of-the-match for his sterling innings and his injury is a huge blow to India who are hot favourites to win the World Cup this year. India scored 6 Hundreds in the ICC tournaments and two of them were by Dhawan.
