Asia’s biggest Auto Expo has started in Delhi. Its 16th edition has been named ‘The Motor Show’. Maruti first introduced its first electric SUV concept EVX at the expo. After this, MG Motors launched the world’s first MPV ie vehicle carrying more people. Maruti has also come up with flex fuel Wagon-R, which will run on up to 80% ethanol mix fuel.

The centre of attraction on the first day of the show was Shah Rukh Khan, who had arrived to launch Hyundai’s electric SUV Ionic-5. This premium car from India’s second largest car manufacturer Hyundai Motors has a battery pack of 72.6 KwH. This battery generates power of 214BHP and torque of 350 Nm. On full charge, this SUV will get a range of 631 km.

The company says that the Ionic-5 can be charged up to 80% in just 18 minutes. A 350kW DC charger will be used for this. The company has kept the initial price of the car at Rs 44.95 lakh, which can increase according to the variant.

Flex fuel version of Wagon-R, will be able to run on 20 to 80% ethanol

Maruti introduced flex fuel prototype of WagonR at Auto Expo. This car can run on E85 fuel. Such vehicles have been developed to run on ethanol blending ranging from 20% to 85%.

Flex fuel vehicles are very cheap to run, as ethanol fuel is available at a much lower cost than diesel-petrol. The special thing about these vehicles is that they give good performance and better running cost like diesel-petrol. The company also introduced a CNG-powered model of the compact SUV Brezza.

Maruti brought first electric SUV, will get advanced connectivity features

Maruti also introduced its first electric SUV concept EVX at the event. Regarding this car brought with Imaginext Vision, the company claims that it will be able to run 550 KM in a single charge. The EVX is the first offering from Maruti in the electric vehicle segment.

Therefore, the company used Metaverse in its presentation. Maruti claims that the new SUV made by Suzuki will get advanced connectivity features along with performance. The company has also announced an investment of Rs 10,000 crore for electric SUV production.

MG brought the world’s first electric MPV, 0-100 speed in 4 seconds

Here, MG Motors introduced the world’s first electric MPV. It has been named MIFA-9 (Mifa-9). Its biggest feature is that it will catch the speed of 0 to 100 in just 4 seconds. Along with the existing Gloster SUV, it is the biggest car in MG’s line-up. The company has said that it will run more than 500 KM in a single charge.

along with the world’s first electric EV, MG has also launched the Electric SUV MG5 at the Auto Expo. This vehicle will get a range of 525 KM in a single charge. This vehicle seems to be based on MG’s current Aster SUV.

MG Motors introduced the facelift of its premium car Hector at the Auto Show. The company has promised 11 new features in this model. It has an 11-inch touch screen infotainment system. The company has fixed the price of different variants of 5 and 7 seater models from 15 lakh to 22 lakh.

Many big auto makers will not attend

the event This time luxury vehicle companies Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi will not appear in the event along with Mahindra & Mahindra, Skoda, Volkswagen and Nissan. Apart from this, the presence of major two-wheeler companies such as Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto and TVS Motor Company will be limited to the display of their ‘flex fuel’ prototype vehicles in the ethanol pavilion.

The Auto Expo Motor Show will be open to the general public from January 13 to 18 at

the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. Although the Auto Expo 2023 event will start from January 11, but January 11 and 12 are reserved for the media. It will be organized for the general public from 13 to 18 January. Its timing will be from 11 am to 8 pm.

Different ticket prices according to every day.

If you want to participate in this event, then you will have to buy a ticket for it. Ticket prices vary by day. On January 13, its price was kept at Rs 750. Only one person gets entry on one ticket.
